Practice Areas

Sexual Harassment Defense

When Attorney Grayson began handling sexual harassment cases on the plaintiff’s side in the 1990s, many women were afraid to come forward and file suit, for fear that their truthful claims might not be believed. Today, the pendulum has swung. An accusation is often credited without investigation, and the accused person expected to immediately withdraw from employment and public life. This is a miscarriage of justice.

A person wrongfully accused of sexual harassment should mount a vigorous defense and seek damages from both the person levelling false accusations and those crediting the false accusations without a full and fair investigation. Persons wrongfully accused of sexual harassment deserve zealous legal representation and vindication of their good names. Attorney Grayson stands ready and able to provide this.

Sexual Harassment – Plaintiff’s Representation

Workplace sexual harassment has long been distressingly common. Since the early 1990’s, Attorney Grayson has provided zealous and highly successful representation for victims of workplace sexual harassment including quid pro quo harassment, hostile workplace, and physical assault. She continues to do so. No person should be afraid to come forward with a meritorious claim.

Civil Rights Litigation

Civil rights litigation is a signature specialty in Attorney Grayson’s practice. Retaliation for exercise of First Amendment Rights, law enforcement abuses, and unconstitutional taking of property without just compensation, are all meritorious grounds for constitutional litigation.

Commercial Litigation

Attorney Grayson’s early training, at the law firm of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, was in large-scale, complex commercial litigation, and she continues to savor commercial cases, including those with cryptocurrency, aviation, or other international elements. She is adept at obtaining jurisdiction over foreign defendants, and in piercing corporate veils to hold affluent individuals liable for actions of undercapitalized shell corporations that they control.

Appeals

Attorney Grayson has handled more than one hundred appeals. She reads the record of the trial court proceedings with a sharp eye and a creative legal mind. Her superlative legal writing enables her to create highly persuasive briefing on appeal. In the appellate courtroom, she is a seasoned advocate. Attorney Grayson welcomes both civil and white collar criminal appeals.
